Goal:                  Participants will increase their understanding about the impact of stress and develop skills

                            to manage stress more effectively.

 

Objectives:       1. Participants will learn research and neuroscience evidence of stress.

 

                           2. Participants will understand resiliency as it relates to stress.

                                                   

                         3. Participants will identify the stressful mind and skills to reduce stress.

 

                            4. Participants will develop an action plan for stress management.

 

Methods:           Lecture with Power Point, interactive discussions, workshop handouts.

 

 

Presenter:     Judi Fischer PCC–S is a therapist, educator, consultant, adjunct college instructor and

                       President of Lakeshore Educational & Counseling Services, with offices in Vermilion and

                       Seven Hills, Ohio.  She has a B.S. in Education and a MA in Clinical Pastoral Counseling.

                       She is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory

                       Designation. In her private counseling practice she works with children, adolescents and

                       adults experiencing  grief and loss, life transitions, depression, anxiety, relational conflicts,

                       self esteem difficulties, spiritual concerns and stress related problems.  Judi offers

                       educational and interactive presentations on a wide range of topics for professionals,

                       community organizations, businesses, schools and churches.
