I tried to make a purchase on the website, but, when I put in my credit card number I got an "error" message. I tried it a couple of times with the same result. How can I complete my registration?
This is usually a technical glitch between your browser and the website. The site has difficulty interacting with certain browsers, especially Firefox and older versions of Internet Explorer. Your credit card was probably billed. DO NOT put your credit card data in again. Contact us by email - - or at (513) 271-3923, and we can complete your registration, and void or refund an extra charge.
How do I access the text of a online course, or a video, once I have purchased it?
If you purchase a TEXT course the text is instantly available to you. If you log off and return to the site later, log on with your username and password, then click on "My Account" on the upper right, and, from the drop down menu, on "My Text Online Courses". The links for the text and practice test are right below the name of the online course. If you purchased a VIDEO course it is also instantly available to you. If you log off and return to the site later, log on with your username and password, click on "My Account" on the upper right, then on "My Video Online Courses" from the drop down menu. You might want to click on "Please, check our web browser requirements to ensure you are able to stream video from our website" before you begin a video.
Can I take a post test more than once in order to pass it?
Yes, you can take a test as many times as you need to in order to pass it.
If I make a bulk purchase of CE hours, is there a time limit on how long I can take to use those hours?
You can take a long as you wish to use the CE hours you have purchased.
For each online course, is there a difference between the practice test and the real test?
No, the tests are the same thing. The practice test enables you to answer the questions as you go through the online course, then plug in the answers when you take the real test.
I’ve completed an online course, taken the test, been told I passed, and filled out an evaluation, but now I can’t download a CE certificate. How can I download a CE certificate?
This problem usually occurs because you have not answered every question on the evaluation form. To check this out log onto the site, click on "My Account", then on "My Text Online Courses", or "My Video Online Courses", and scroll through the post test again. You don’t have to answer the questions. You’ll see they are already answered. After you scroll through the post test you can access the evaluation form again. Make sure that every question is answered. If something was not answered, you should be able to download a CE certificate once you answer it.
I mistakenly registered for the same workshop or online course twice. How can I cancel the second registration?
Contact us by email - - or at (513) 271-3923, and we’ll administratively void the second registration, issue a refund, put bulk CE hours back into your account, and/or do whatever is necessary to resolve the problem.
I attended one of your live webinars, live workshops, or completed an online course, but I’ve lost my CE certificate. How can I get a new CE certificate?
For any live webinar, live workshop, or online course, that you attended or completed, you can log onto your account and download a new CE certificate. To do this log on with your username and password, click on "My Account" on the upper right, then on "My Certificates" from the drop down menu. It should be right there for you to download.
I’ve forgotten my username and password, and the new ones that the site generated won’t allow me to log on. How can I retrieve my username and password?
Contact us by email - - or at (513) 271-3923, and we can administratively change your username and/or password. Your username is always your email address. Your password is something you uniquely created and we do not have access to it for security reasons, but we can administratively edit the information.
I have a new email address, or I want to change my password. How can I do that?
Log onto the site with your current username and password, click on "My Account" on the upper right, then on "edit". You can then change them to whatever you would like.
I can’t remember if I have any CE hours left on the bulk purchase I previously made, or I need a receipt. Where can I find out if I have CE hours left in my account and/or download a receipt?
Log onto the site with your username and password and click on "My Account" on the upper right to see the status of your CE hours. For a receipt of any purchase you made with a credit card while on the site, click on "Invoices and Receipts". If you sent us a check and need a receipt, contact us by email - - or (513) 271-3923.
I’m licensed in Kentucky and you say on your site that you apply yearly for approval by the Kentucky boards of Licensed Professional Counselors and Alcohol & Drug Counselors. How can I determine if your online courses are approved by my Kentucky board?
We no longer apply with the Kentucky boards due to the number of online courses we sponsor and the cost for applying yearly. We do apply for a few online courses with the Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors - Kentucky Laws, Suicide Prevention and Domestic Violence. Otherwise, the Kentucky LPC Board accepts providers approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors. We are an NBCC approved provider. The Kentucky Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors accepts providers who are approved by the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors. We are an NAADAC approved provider. You can determine if an online course is approved by clicking on "Online Courses", then "All Online Courses", and entering your state and profession at the top of the list. When you do that the site automatically tells you what is approved by your state board, how many CE hours each online course is approved for, and the cost. If your board has not approved a specific online course the site will tell you that "this online course is not available based on your selections".
I’m licensed in Ohio as a Psychologist. When I submit my online course CE Certificate to the OPA MCE the date that is placed on my transcript is always the beginning of the biennium Is that correct?
Our arrangement with the OPA MCE is that all online courses will be dated on the first day of the biennium. No matter what date you complete the online course the OPA MCE will record your completion as the first day of the biennium. Further, we send a list of completions to the OPA MCE at the beginning of each month. You do not have to send your CE Certificate to the OPA MCE.
