Heisel and Associates now offers workshops for Home Study.  Our catalog is limited but we plan to add home study workshops as quickly as we can.

• Duty To Warn/Duty To Protect:  1.5 CEU's/RCH's:  Cost = $22.50

• Diagnosis and Treatment Planning For Psychological and Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents:  6 CEU's/RCH's:  Cost = $69

• Clinical Supervision With Difficult Cases:  Using the Science of Change to Enhance Effectiveness in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment:  7 CEU's/RCH's:  Cost = $69

Here is what you do to access our home study workshops:

1.  You can click on any of the workshops and view an outline.  If the workshop interests you then you

     can click on that workshop and access the text.

2.  You can print off the text and read it whenever you want to, or you can read it while on the website.

3.  When you are finished with the materials, print off the registration form, post test and evaluation form

      for that workshop and complete the post test.   The Registration Form, Post Test and Evaluation

      Form are located at the end of the text for each Home Study.  Make sure you give us your name,

      address, phone number and email.  We use this information to communicate with you and to

      maintain the records the boards require of us.  We do not use your information for soliciting

      business and we do not sell your information.

4.  Mail or fax the registration form, post test and evaluation form with your payment to "Heisel and

     Associates".   Home Study courses cost $15 per CEU/RCH for workshops which are approved for 1

     to 3 CEU's/RCH's and $53 to $69 for workshops approved for 4 to 7 CEU's/RCH's . You must mail us

     the post test.  The various boards require that we keep a hard copy of your post test.

5.  If you need to, feel free to contact us at 800-388-2267 or 513-271-3923 or at

6.  You can take as long as you need to complete the workshop and take the post test. 

7.  Once we receive the materials we will immediately grade the test and send you a CEU form.

8.  If you fail the test you can retake it as many times as you need to in order to pass.

     (So far no one has ever failed a test.)

9.  Our home study workshops are approved by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and

     Marriage and Family Therapist Board for Counselors (RCXX048709) , Social Workers (RSXX058716)

     and Marriage and Family Therapists (RTX110501).  Our home study workshops are also approved by

     the State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (PID#07-0709- 42PVN) and the Ohio

     Psychological Association (Provider #311456289).  In addition these home study workshops have been

     approved by the Employee Assistance Certification Commission.

     Home study workshops approved by:

     The Kentucky Board of Social Work:  All except The Role of the Mental Status Exam in Client Care.

        (Ethics in Everyday Practice is approved for CEU's, but not for the Ethics Requirement, which must be a live

        presentation)

     The Kentucky Board of Licensure of Marriage and Family Therapists:  All except Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

        for Psychological and Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents.

     The Kentucky Board of Licensed Professional Counselors:  All except A Basic Approach to Pharmacotherapy.

     The Kentucky Board of Certification of Alcohol and Drug Counselors:  All except A Basic Approach to Pharmacotherapy

        and Diagnosis and Treatment of Depression in Children and Adolescents.

10. We maintain a comprehensive record of everyone who has taken our workshops going back to the

      year 2004.  If you lose a CEU form we can quickly get you a new one.

All of our home study workshops are copyrighted in the name of the author.  The materials contained in each home study are protected by United States copyright law and may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, published or broadcast without the prior written permission of Heisel & Associates or in the case of third party materials, the owner of that content. You may not alter or remove any trademark, copyright or other notice from copies of the content.
