Another Cyber Security Breach

This week we learned about another security breach at a large insurance company. I personally received a notice that it is likely that my data was stolen. In order to protect our personal data we're encouraged to "freeze" our credit report. But remember, if you want to borrow money you'll have to un-freeze it. I understand it takes a couple of days.
For those of us with small businesses (private practices, etc.) we are required to protect data just like giant insurance companies. It is not as hard as it might appear, but it does involve some cost. My high priced attorneys say that stolen health records can be re-sold for $50 per person as opposed to $1 per person for stolen social security or credit card numbers.
